"边"常常用来说东西的旁边、或者一个地方的边缘。

"边" is often used to refer to the side of something or the edge of a place.

我们也用"边...边..."来说一个人同时做两件事,比如"边走边说"。

We also use "边...边..." to say someone is doing two things at the same time, for example, "边走边说" (walking and talking).
