Outpatient is the place in a hospital where patients are treated, but you don't need to stay in the hospital.
如果病不太重，医生会让你去门诊看，看完就可以回家。
If the illness is not serious, the doctor will have you go to 门诊 for a check-up, and you can go home after the visit.
