「すぎ」は、時間や年れいがそれをこえたことをあらわす言い方です。
"すぎ" is an expression that indicates that time or age has passed beyond a certain point.
また、ほかの言葉のあとについて「〜しすぎる」のように、多すぎることをあらわします。
Also, when attached after other words, as in "〜しすぎる," it expresses excessiveness.
