Description
「ではありませんでした」は、ていねいに「〜ではない」と言うときの、過去の形です。
"ではありませんでした" is the past polite form of saying "~ではない".
名詞やな形容詞のあとにつけて、「〜ではなかった」という意味をていねいに伝えます。
It is attached after nouns or na-adjectives to politely express "was not ~."
