Description

「国」は、日本やアメリカのように、人が住んでいて政府がある大きな場所のことです。

"国" refers to a large area where people live and there is a government, like Japan or America.

「くに」と読むと、自分が生まれた土地やふるさとを表すこともあります。

When read as "くに," "国" can also mean the land where one was born or their hometown.
