「故障」は、機械や車などがこわれて、うまく動かなくなることです。
"故障" means that a machine or car is broken and does not work properly.
パソコンやエレベーターが動かないとき、「故障中」と言ったり書いたりします。
When a computer or elevator is not working, we say or write "故障中".
