Description

「方」は読み方がいくつかあって、意味も変わります。

"方" has several readings and its meaning changes accordingly.

「ほう」は方向や、二つをくらべるときに使います。「かた」は人をていねいに言うときや、やり方を表すときに使います。

"ほう" is used for directions or when comparing two things. "かた" is used to politely refer to people or to indicate a method.
