Description

「目が覚める」は、ねむっていた人が起きて、意識がはっきりすることです。

"目が覚める" means when a sleeping person wakes up and becomes fully conscious.

びっくりして急に元気になったり、まちがいに気づいたりするときにも使います。

It is also used when someone suddenly becomes alert from surprise or realizes a mistake.
