「満ちる」は、何かがいっぱいになることや、月やしおが大きくなることをあらわす言葉です。
"満ちる" means something becoming full or the moon and tide increasing.
「希望に満ちる」のように、気持ちがいっぱいになるときにもよく使います。
It is also often used when feelings become full, as in "希望に満ちる" (filled with hope).
