About Langly

Why we built it

Real texts are the best language teacher — but one unknown sentence can stop you cold. Traditional dictionaries explain words in isolation, and machine translation gives you the meaning without the understanding.

Langly takes a different path. Paste any text and Tree Reader splits it into chunks. Tap a chunk you don't understand and it breaks into smaller pieces — down to single words, with meanings, readings, and examples written for learners. You see how the sentence works, not just what it says.

One app, every step

Langly covers the whole loop of learning from real content — each piece stands alone, and they work great together:

• Reader — an AI reader and dictionary that lets you read anything (articles and videos) in your target language.
• Cards — spaced-repetition flashcards that build themselves. The words you save while reading come back as quizzes, right when you're about to forget them — or export them to Anki anytime.
